Hello! My name is Danielle Lacourse and I am Miss Rhode Island USA 2007 and 1st Runner-up to Miss USA. After my reign ended, I decided to become a pageant coach because the experience that I had changed my life. I believe that pageantry is more than skin deep and can provide confidence and serve as a stepping stone for accomplishments later in life. Most importantly, it is a way to not only compete against many other intelligent and beautiful young woman but it provides the rare opportunity to compete against yourself.
A common question that is asked during the pageant interview is "How do you define success?". I tell my clients that success is achieved when preparation and opportunity collide. With the preparation that I provide in addition to your hardwork and dedication, we can achieve success. At Miss USA I was guaranteed 2 things: One girl will walk away with the crown and something will go wrong. My job as a pageant coach is to practice with the clients in order to diminish this likelihood of error. Will I promise you the crown? That is up to you. However, I will promise personal success.
